RepairQ allows users to attach special notes or instructions to any Purchase Orders and Inventory Transfers. Notes can include special formatting, embedded links, and images.
Additional Resources
Adding Notes to Purchase Orders (POs)
1. On the Navigation Bar, go to Inventory and create or view a purchase order/internal transfer.
Note: Inventory Transfers (Internal Purchase Orders) are available on Advanced and Professional plans.
2. If viewing an existing Purchase Order, click the Edit button on the top right of the page to open the PO for editing.
3. On the Purchase Order Edit screen, or when creating a new PO, click the Notes tab. Click inside the text field to enter your notes, links, or images. Once you are finished with your message, click Save Notes. If you are creating a new order, the note will be saved when the PO is Ordered.
Note: When attaching an image to a note, you will need to provide the source URL for the image. Our recommendation is to upload that image to an image-sharing website, then attach the linked URL to the note.
3. After adding the note, you will be redirected Purchase Order View page. Scroll down and the note will appear under the Remarks section.
Editing and Deleting Notes on Purchase Orders
1. On the Navigation Bar, go to Inventory and view a purchase order/internal transfer.
2. Click the Edit button on the top right of the page to open the PO for editing.
4. On the Purchase Order Edit screen, click the Notes tab. Click inside the text field to edit the existing note. If you would like to delete the note, delete all of the text in this field. Once you are finished with your message, click Save Notes.
5. After adding the note, you will be redirected to the Purchase Order View page. Scroll down and the edited note will appear under the Remarks section. If you removed the note altogether, there will not be a Remarks section. Scrolling down a bit further will show the Change Log for the PO, and this section displays a history of changes made to the Purchase Order, including updates to the Notes/Remarks section.
