Purchase Orders (POs) are a key component in the procurement process, allowing users to create a fulfillment record of the products they purchase from external suppliers. Users with the Inventory Manager role or higher to set Reorder Points (ROPs) and Reorder Amounts (ROAs) for each catalog item for their assigned location(s) while Admins can assign these at the company (global) level.
Reorder Points are designed to notify managers on the dashboard and during the PO process when the in-stock quantity for an item falls below the assigned amount. Reorder Amounts are designed to make the ordering process easier by assigning a default quantity to reorder when adding an item to a Purchase Order.
