Disabling Password Managers

We strongly recommend disabling the browser password manager for the browser used to run RepairQ in your stores. Not doing so can risk issues such as saving the manager login, or any other employee logins for fraudulent use, as well as interfering with credit card swipes.

Chrome

  1. In the upper right corner of your window, click the menu button



  2. Choose Settings



  3. At the bottom of the page, click "Show advanced settings"



  4. Under “Password and forms,” uncheck "Offer to save your web passwords"

 

Firefox

    1. In the upper right corner of your window, click the menu button



    2. Click "Options"


    3.  Click "Security"



    4. Under "Passwords", uncheck the "Remember passwords for sites" option.
        

 

Safari

  1. Click "Safari", then "Preferences"



  2. Click "Passwords"



  3. Uncheck the "AutoFill user names and passwords" option

Internet Explorer

  1. In the upper right corner of your window, click the "Settings" button



  2. Click "Internet Options"



  3. Navigate to the "Content" tab



  4. Under the "AutoComplete" section, click "Settings"



  5. Uncheck the "Forms" option, then click "OK"
