This article covers how to install security certificate from your PAX device onto your Chromebook.
This step needs to be performed on each device that needs to communicate with any PAX payment terminal devices.
Downloading and Installing the PAX Device Security Certificate
1. Open up your Chrome web browser and open a new tab.
2. Direct your browser to "repairq.io/ca.repairq.io.cer".
3. Your device will begin downloading the certificate.
4.Click the three dots at the top right of your browser, then navigate to settings.
5.Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced.
6.Then scroll down to the Privacy and Security Settings.
7.From here you will click on Manage Certificates.
8.At the top of this page you will click on Authorities.
9.Then click Import.
10.At the bottom of the Import Dialog, you will need to change the file type to All Files

11.Navigate to where you downloaded the certificate and select it.
12.Check all three Trust Settings and press ok.
13.In Chrome, navigate to test.term.repairq.io where it should now Secure.
You are now ready to add your payment device into RepairQ.
